Core Services
Wellsite Geology
AIPC offers high quality wellsite geology services from a significant pool of experienced geologists based in Australia, the UK, USA and South East Asia. We have recent experience in many of the world's petroleum basins in a wide range of conditions. These include the heli-lift operations on the mountain tops of Papua New Guinea to the deepwater turbidite plays of the West Africa and the long reach wells off Sakhalin Island. Specific wellsite expertise includes hydrocarbon show evaluation in water-based and oil based drilling fluid systems, wireline logging supervision, LWD supervision and geosteering, quick-look log interpretation and the compilation of final well reports and composite well logs
Operations Geology
In tandem with the wellsite geology service, AIPC offers experienced operations geologists from the planning stages to the wrap-up of a drilling programme. AIPC operations geologists are aware that good communication between the wellsite, asset team and drilling departments are critical to a smooth and successful drilling and evaluation operation. Specific expertise includes contract design and implementation, design of data acquisition programmes, remote geosteering, implementation of wellsite and operations training programmes, pre-well pore pressure studies, well design, and the provision of geological databases and reporting systems.
Pore Pressure Engineering
AIPC is a licenced user of GPES pore pressure estimation software and has extensive experience in the Australian and Indonesian Petroleum Basins, as well as in many other parts of the world. AIPC can provide basin pressure modelling services as well as a dedicated wellsite pore pressure engineering service.
